Tye Olson (born in Crosby, Minnesota on 25 May 1987) is an American actor and model.

Tye Olson was born to Allen and Rebecca Olson. The family moved to Hines, Minnesota near Bemidji where he attended Bemidji High School. He was an avid sportsman playing hockey for 6 years and practiced track and fields, cross country and tennis. He was active in the school choir, marching band, journalism and charity. He also enrolled in a number of theater and dance classes.

A modeling scout from Caryn International School for Film and Television spotted him and encouraged him to take modeling classes in Minneapolis followed by a few modelling shows in New York.

His main debut role in films was in a lead role in Watercolors opposite Kyle Clare, Karen Black and Greg Louganis. He was soon after cast in a main role in Tru Loved directed by Stewart Wade and in the film Brother's War directed by Jerry Buyten with Michael Berryman and Olivier Gruner. Alongside roles in films, he has appeared in a number of music videos for Hellogoodbye, Fall Out Boy and Blue October.
